What You’ll Do
- Communicate with clients in a welcoming, empathetic, and trauma-informed manner, especially during sensitive situations.
- Assist with the client intake process to ensure a smooth, supportive experience.
- Conduct legal research and help draft pleadings and other key documents.
- Format motions and other court filings with precision and attention to detail.
- Work with tools like PACER, File & ServeXpress, and SCROLL (preferred but not required).
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for justice and a strong commitment to serving the underserved.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to support clients with empathy and professionalism.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Legal research and drafting skills with a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Familiarity with civil rights, employment law, consumer protection, or whistleblower cases is a plus.
- Experience with case management systems, discovery preparation, and trial support preferred.
